Adult Day Service Programs

Adult Day Service (ADS) programs offer an environment for individuals to work on skill development, experience new things, socialize and, in some cases, be paid to work. With the assistance of their guardian, family and support team members, individuals can utilize the “Free Choice of Provider” process to choose the ADS program(s) that best meets their needs and interests. Knox County has an abundance of unique skill development opportunities and each individual can customize their program selections to meet their wants, needs and goals. This helps each individual live a fulfilling life where they have the opportunity and support to reach their full potential.

Process for Enrollment

To enroll in the Adult Day Service (ADS) program(s) of your choice, please talk to your Service & Support Administrator. They will be able to match you with a program that meets your interests and arrange interviews and/or plan a tour or visit of the day program(s) of your choice.
