On Thursday February 26th, the Bladensburg Community Center welcomed our Special Olympics Basketball Skills & Cheer athletes for our annual Showcase event!

On January 18, 2026 we held the NW Regional Basketball Competition at Kenyon College! We had Knox, Ashland and Van Wert Counties participate in the Skills portion of the competition. We had two teams from Richland County, Erie County, Morrow County and Knox County participate in basketball games to potentially move on to the next round of competition!

Knox County Eagles Vs. Richland County Bears
Earlier this week, our very own Knox County Eagles Basketball team traveled to Coshocton County to compete against the Hopewell Indians!
On Saturday, Santa Claus spent some time with these amazing families and kiddos at our Sensory Santa event! The kiddos even got to do so many fun crafts and activities while they were there!

Our friends at the different Adult Day Programs in Knox County put together a collaborative Summer Sizzle event at Foundation Park on Friday August 22! The weather was perfect and the company was even better! Everyone had a fantastic time listening to music, dancing, getting their pictures taken, temporary tattoos (that seem to never come off!) and they got to Dunk some of their favorite people in a dunk tank! We can’t wait to see what fun ideas you guys come up with for the next Summer Sizzle event!
